One of the things I do is serve as lead editor for the Ethics International Press Critical Psychology and Critical Psychiatry series.
We are currently looking for chapter contributors for one of our next volumes, to be called Artists in Crisis.
We’re looking for firsthand stories of the challenges of a life in the arts, especially with regard to dealing with depression/sadness, anxiety, addiction, and the other emotional challenges that come with both being human and trying to live a life in the arts.
We’d love to hear if you’d like to contribute. If you think you might be interested, please drop me a line to ericmaisel@hotmail.com
hi
I would love to write an Articel about the difficulties as an artist and how art safed me going through a really difficult time in my life
Your offer for contributions to your project intrigued me. I would like to share how being an artist has gotten me through many crises.
I am interested in this, as an elderlywoman in the arts, and a person who struggled with mental heath issues, like anxiety and depression for most of my life.
I feel that one of the biggest problem for a new artist is to be financially able .To have your work seen by the right people who love art.
Isn’t that the truth! There is a company I’ve spoke with called Art store fronts that I’ve considered trying out…
I’d like to know more about the purpose of this book and who it serves.
It sounds interesting but I want to make sure that it aligns with my purpose before sharing.
