Jacob Norby, who is a pal of mine, just invited me to present a workshop at his Heal & Create Writers’ Retreat weekend conference in Marin (which is just north of San Francisco, over the Golden Gate Bridge) that happens the weekend of October 29-30. Catch me there on that Sunday!
You can attend virtually—but you can also attend live! This will be my first live workshop in years, and I’m looking forward to resurfacing and appearing again in public. Maybe this will signal the return of my Deep Writing workshops and all the rest. Who knows
Presenters include Julia Cameron (virtually) and Anne Lamott, SARK, me, and others LIVE and in person. I’ll be presenting a valuable 90-minute workshop called “Writing Your Book from Beginning to End: The Nuts and Bolts” that will paint a useful picture of the book-writing process from beginning to end, soup to nuts, and A to Z. It will be practical, valuable, and inspiring. So … see you there!
Tickets for the live event are bound to fly off the shelves, so get yours now if you’d like to attend. And, of course, come virtually if you can’t make it physically—that remains a stellar option.
For me, art and writing have always gone together. I do both and never considered doing one or the other.
Thank you for the conference post. I’ll be sure and check out the information.
the barriers to publishing have never been lower. writers, investigate Print/Publish On Demand “POD” digital technology.. no longer do you pay thousands for books-in-a-box which may never be sold.
Interested. I am a writer.
