Marketing & Promotion

  3. Clear signage with prices and short product stories.
  4. “Touch and feel” section for sensory engagement.
  5. Business cards or postcards with your contact info.
  6. Small, affordable impulse-buy items.
  7. Special fair-only promotions (e.g., bundle deals, free gifts).
  8. Collect emails with a giveaway sign-up.
  9. Warm greetings and genuine conversation.
  10. Collaborate with other vendors for cross-promotion.

Booth Display Tricks

  1. Pyramid Principle – tall items in back, small in front.
  2. Story groupings – themed displays to spark imagination.
  3. Eye-level “wow” item as a visual magnet.
  4. Use vertical space with shelves, risers, and hanging displays.
  5. Keep an open area for comfortable customer flow.

People-Psychology Tactics

  1. Stand near the front—look approachable.
  2. Greet with “Let me know if you have any questions” instead of “Can I help you?”
  3. Invite touching or trying on (if appropriate).
  4. Share origin stories to create meaning.
  5. Use the “yes ladder” for small agreements first.
  6. Keep best-sellers in easy reach (waist to shoulder height).
