My latest book Why Smart Teens Hurt comes out on August 8. I noticed yesterday that the audio book publisher Tantor has produced an audio version of the book. How lovely! They have also created audio book versions of some of my other books, among them The Power of Daily Practice and Redesign Your Mind, and it’s great to see that they’ve opted to do the same for Why Smart Teens Hurt. If you’re a fan of audiobooks, you can preorder the audio version of Why Smart Teens Hurt now.

You might enjoy the book even if you are no longer a teen . Many of the issues I discuss remain issues “forever”: the way a smart brain races, the struggle to maintain one’s individuality, conflicts with parents, how idealism smacks up against reality, how anxiety manifests as procrastination and perfectionism, etc. I think that my portrait of a smart teen will speak to you—and to the teens you may know. Come take a look and see what you think.
