THE WORLD SALON VISION

We’re envisioning the World Salon as a place for creative and performing artists and other creative individuals worldwide to come for free resources and a home.

We’ve tried to think through what might provide that feeling of “coming home” and we’ve concluded that a sense of quiet, a respectful tone, useful resources, and the opportunity to hear from peers from around the world would make for a good start.

Many of our features are now in place, like our Ten Tips library, links to top magazine articles, worldwide perspective pieces, and artist voice pieces. These features will continue to grow. We also anticipate new initiatives as our community members—you—make suggestions and point us in new directions. We look forward to that!

If you prefer to read our contents in a language other than English, that option is available to you. This site can be instantly translated into a variety of languages using the translator function on the sidebar. We anticipate providing at least one new worldwide perspective piece every day, so we hope that you’ll make coming to the World Salon one of your daily excursions.

We also hope that you’ll want to receive our free weekly newsletter that will keep you informed about what’s going on in the World Salon. You’ll get a nice free gift for signing up, so please join our community. Oh, and tell your friends!

Thank you!

Eric and Ann Maisel
