If you’re working on a creative project and you skip it for a few days, you may end up losing not only days but weeks, months and even years. It’s easy not to return to a creative project when we put it aside and lose contact with it. The solution? Pick a number of days that you will allow yourself to skip your creative work; and if those days have passed demand of yourself that you return to your project. I suggest that the number be no more than two or three at the most. Say that you pick three days as your number. When that third day ends, say to yourself “Tomorrow I am getting back to work no matter what!” And do exactly that.
